Abstract
Background: Pain is an unpleasant sensory sensation related to potential or actual tissue damage. Pain reassessment is carried out to improve the quality of nursing care services. Nurse compliance is disciplinary behavior in carrying out nursing actions and documentation. Researchers took factors namely age, gender, years of service. Research objective: to determine the factors associated with compliance with documentation of pain reassessment in the inpatient unit of RSU Permata Medika Kebumen. Research method: The research design in this study is descriptive correlational with a cross sectional approach. The instrument uses document study. Sampling using the Slovin formula obtained 57 respondents. The analysis used is using Chi-square. Research results: Characteristics of respondents based on age, namely early adulthood (26-35 years) 38 respondents (66.7%), female gender 46 respondents (80.7%) and working period >4 years 25 respondents (43.9%). Based on analysis using the Chi Square test for age and nurse compliance, it was found that P= 0.413 (P> 0.05). Analysis of gender and nurse compliance found P= 0.015 (P<0.05). Analysis of length of service and compliance found P= 0.512 (P> 0.05) Conclusion: There is no relationship between age and length of service and nurse compliance and there is a relationship between gender and nurse compliance in documenting pain reassessments. Recommendation: It is hoped that future researchers can conduct research on other factors related to nurse compliance in documenting pain reassessments.
