Abstract
Background: Auditory hallucinations are voices that are not real. Auditory hallucinations occur when a person hears whispers or sounds that others cannot hear. Hallucination patients require nursing care. Objective: To find out mental nursing care for patients with sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations using a general action approach and sensory perception stimulus group activity therapy. Session 1 Getting to know hallucinations at the Dosaraso Shelter Kebumen. Method: The nursing care process was carried out over 6 meetings with a duration of 45 minutes for each patient using a descriptive method with a case study approach for 3 patients. The instruments used are nursing care format, Hallucination Implementation Strategy, observation sheet for signs and symptoms of hallucinations, observation sheet for hallucination abilities. Results: The nursing care process resulted in a decrease in signs and symptoms of hallucinations before and after generalist therapy and group activity therapy. The highest signs of symptoms were in patient 2 with a score of 10 to 5, namely being alone, fantasizing, talking to himself, having difficulty connecting with other people, restless as well as an increase in ability to carry out individual therapy and group activity therapy most often in patient 2 with an ability score from 3 to 4. Recommendation: Providing a combination of individual therapy and group activity therapy is effective as a standard of nursing care for patients with hallucinations
