Abstract
Background: Waiting is the first interaction that connects customers to a service process. Satisfaction is being satisfied and feeling good. Customers often feel that waiting in a queue is inconvenient and frustrating. Research Objective: to determine the relationship between waiting time for service and customer satisfaction in the Orthopedic Clinic of the General Hospital of Siaga Medika Banyumas. Research Methods: Quantitative Descriptive with a cross sectional design with observations of samples made to see the relationship or risk by approaching using a questionnaire, total respondents 197 patients of the orthopedic clinic of RSU Siaga Medika Banyumas. Research Results: The results of the spearman correlation between waiting time and respondent satisfaction obtained data 0.946** which means very strong or there is a relationship between waiting time and patient satisfaction at the Orthopedic Clinic of the Siaga Medika Banyumas General Hospital and is significant with a significant number of 0.01. Conclusion: In this study, it was concluded that there is a relationship between waiting time and patient satisfaction at the Orthopedic Clinic of the Siaga Medika Banyumas General Hospital. Recommendations for Future Researchers: Used as basic data for further research and it is hoped that further research will use time, energy, and as efficiently as possible and involve families in this study. Increase the number of respondents and it is also hoped that future researchers will supervise the filling of questionnaires so as to obtain valid data, namely from the patient himself, not from the patient's family.
