Abstract
Background: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of deaths from Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) has increased from 27th to 18th place. The problem that is often found in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis is hemoglobin levels that tend to be below normal levels or experience a decrease in HB, which causes anemia. Anemia occurs in 80-90% of CKD patients. At RSUD dr. Soedirman, it was found that CKD cases were the top 10 most common diseases in the Hospital. Purpose: to analyze the factors that affect HB levels in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen. Method: This study used a descriptive correlational method with a cross-sectional approach. Samples taken were 62 CKD patients undergoing HD with Consecutive sampling technique. Bivariate analysis with Chi-Square. Results: The HB levels of CKD patients at RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen mostly experienced moderate anemia. There is an influence of age factors, nutritional status, dietary factors on HB levels in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen. There is no influence of the length of hemodialysis on HB levels in chronic kidney failure patients at RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen. Conclusion: There is an influence of age factors, nutritional status, dietary factors on HB levels in chronic kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at RSUD dr. Soedirman Kebumen. Recommendation: Nurses are advised to provide nursing care to CKD patients by paying attention to factors that can affect the decrease in Hb levels, including age factors, dietary patterns and nutritional status.
