Abstract
Background, Family is a group of people united by ties of marriage, blood, or adoption. Tuberculosis is one of the public health problems that can be experienced by everyone. Cases of Pulmonary TB in adults in Indonesia are estimated to be 75% of tuberculosis sufferers are in the productive age group. Objective, Analyze Family Nursing Care at the Adult Development Stage with the Main Problem of Ineffective Health Maintenance in the Puring Health Center Work Area. Case taking method, case study design using case report involving 5 family respondents with pulmonary TB. Results, nursing care was given to 5 families at the adult development stage with the main problem of ineffective health maintenance with the intervention of steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil and implementation was carried out for 10 meetings with the results of the evaluation of the majority of patients decreasing signs of pulmonary TB cough symptoms. Conclusion, the application of water vapor inhalation with eucalyptus oil is effective in treating Pulmonary TB patients with cough. The next recommendation of the researcher, it is hoped that the innovation of water vapor inhalation can be implemented in the health center work area by directly involving families.
