Abstract
Background: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a disorder of kidney function that is tolerant and cannot return to normal. Kidney disease is one of the causes of death globally and is ranked 10th. CKD patients experience higher levels of anxiety and loss related to their psychological condition. Objective: To analyze nursing care for anxiety and loss of chronic kidney disease patients at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Method: This scientific paper uses a descriptive case study design. The case study subjects were 5 CKD patients, who experienced anxiety problems, measuring anxiety levels using the HADS instrument and nursing care during 6 meetings by giving Al Qur'an Surah Ar Rahman murottal therapy to reduce anxiety levels of CKD patients Results: The level of anxiety decreased the most in the fifth patient from a score of 14 (moderate anxiety) to a score of 9 (mild anxiety) and there was an increase of the ability to administer murotal therapy. Conclusion: Al Qur'an Surah Ar Rahman murottal therapy is effective to reduce anxiety levels of CKD patients.
