Abstract
Background, One of the most important things in the world of health, especially nursing, is family. The nursing process is the act of providing care to individuals, families, groups or communities regarding illness and health. The family with the birth of the first child (child bearing) is one of the eight stages of development. The stage of family development at the birth of the first child (child bearing) is the stage of family development from the birth of the first child until the child is 30 months old. Purpose, Explaining the results of the analysis of family nursing care at the birth stage of the first child with the problem of readiness to become parents using exclusive breastfeeding education in Rakit village, Banjarnegara district. The method of taking cases is through a case report approach (case study) conducted to 5 families with the application of Exclusive Breastfeeding educational action interventions. Results of nursing care, The results of the assessment were obtained by all families in the first stage of child development with a nursing diagnosis of readiness to improve parenthood with the intervention of providing exclusive breastfeeding education. The implementation was carried out during 3 meetings with the results of the evaluation of the majority of patients experiencing an increase in knowledge. The highest number of patients is family 1, 4 and 5, which is an increase of 40% and the lowest, namely family 2 with an increase of 25%. The next recommendation of the researcher, it is hoped that the results of the case study can be applied in the scope of health services by involving families.
