Abstract
Background: Hypertension is defined as an increase in systolic blood pressure greater than or equal to 140 mmHg, and an increase in diastolic blood pressure greater than or equal to 90 mmHg. On generally Hypertension sufferers will feel neck or neck pain, but not all hypertension sufferers experience neck pain. It could be that other signs and symptoms of hypertension will appear because usually the signs and symptoms are hypertension What appears are signs and symptoms of other diseases. One of the non-pharmacological therapies used to relieve pain is warm compresses and massage neck. Purpose: Explaining the analysis of nursing care for hypertensive patients with the main nursing diagnosis of acute pain by administering warm compresses and neck massage at RS Aghisna Medika Kroya. Results: The results of the study carried out on the five respondents found that the five respondents with hypertension experienced acute pain nursing problems, and after giving warm compresses and massage The nape is effective in reducing the pain scale in hypertensive patients and all respondents (100%) experienced a decrease in the pain scale to a mild scale (1-3). Recommendation: It is hoped that future researchers will be able to examine the provision of relaxation therapy handgrip in patients with acute pain due to hypertension.
