Abstract
Background: Heart disease is a disease that is often found in society. This heart disease is often called heart failure. with heart failure reaching 64.34 million cases worldwide with a death rate of 9.91 people. Treatment of shortness of breath in CHF patients can be done using pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. Treatment of shortness of breath in CHF patients can be done using pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. Pharmacological administration involves administering drug therapy, while non-pharmacological therapy involves administering the semi-Fowler position Objective: To Analyzing nursing care by providing a semi-follower position on increasing oxygen saturation values in CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) patients in the barokah room at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital Method: This scientific paper uses a descriptive case study design. The case study subjects were 5 elderly people with urinary incontinence problems. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. Results: The nursing problem that emerged in the five patients was ineffective breathing patterns. The intervention that will be carried out is the semi-follower position. From the implementation results, it was found that the five patients experienced an increase in oxygen saturation values after the semi-Fowler position Conclusion : The semi-fowler position innovation can be applied to overcome shortness of breath and increase saturation values in CHF patients.
