Abstract
Background : One of the nursing problems that arise in CHF patients is ineffective breathing patterns. Ineffective breathing patterns can cause shortness of breath and the patient's hemodynamic condition becomes unstable. If this condition is ignored, it can worsen the patient's condition. General Purpose : Presenting an analysis of the nursing care process for CHF patients with nursing problems with ineffective breathing patterns to stabilize hemodynamic status in the ICCU Room at Margono Soekarjo Hospital, Purwokerto. Methode : The non-pharmacological action taken to overcome ineffective breathing patterns is by providing hand held fan therapy three times a day with a duration of 5 minutes per therapy. Nursing Care Results : The five patients had nursing problems with ineffective breathing patterns. Intervention with the aim of improving breathing patterns based on the Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standards (SLKI) and using vital signs monitoring based on the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards (SIKI). The actions given include monitoring vital signs and administering hand held fan therapy as a non-pharmacological therapy. The nursing evaluation of the five patients was that the ineffective breathing pattern had not been resolved but showed that the hemodynamic status of the five patients had improved. Recommendation : Hand held fan therapy is very good for CHF patients as a therapy to stabilize hemodynamic status.
