Abstract
Background: Stroke is a type of cerebrovascular disorder in which there is a disorder in the blood arteries that supply blood to the brain. Stroke is also a functional disorder of the brain that develops rapidly and has focal or general clinical symptoms that last for 24 hours or more. (EWSS) is a scoring system to identify a decrease in a patient's condition, improving outcomes. The purpose of this study is to find out how the relationship between EWSS and stroke patient outcomes at Prembun Hospital. Research Objective: To determine the relationship between the Early Warning Score System (EWSS) and the Outcome of Stroke Patients at Prembun Hospital Research Methods: This type of research is descriptive correlative. The research instrument used a questionnaire on the EWSS format and a questionnaire on mobilization or movement of post-stroke patients. The study respondents were 37 people. The questionnaire used for data collection used the EWSS format questionnaire and data collection on mobilization or movement of post-stroke patients then used a questionnaire and then the data was processed with Kendalls Tau because the data measured in this study was ordinal categorical data. Research Results: The results of the study obtained from 37 respondents were known to the majority of respondents with good conditions 17 resondents (45.9%), and the majority of respondents with bad conditions as many as 20 (54.1%). There was no relationship between EWSS and outcome of stroke patients (p=0,306) Conclusion: There is no relationship between Early Warning Score System (EWSS) and Stroke Patient Outcomes at Prembun Hospital Recommendation: Researchers can then develop this research with different methods
