Abstract
Background, The number of type 2 diabetes mellitus sufferers at the Kebumen II Community Health Centre in July 2024 increased to 374 but only 33% underwent routine treatment. Diabetes mellitus is one of the 10 biggest diseases in the Kebumen II Community Health Centre area and most patients experience uncontrolled blood sugar complications due to non-compliance with taking medication. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the levels of compliance with therapeutic outcomes, identify the level of compliance and therapeutic outcomes and analyse risk factors that affect medication compliance and blood sugar levels of Type 2 DM patients at the Kebumen II Community Health Centre Research Methods, This study used a descriptive correlational cross-sectional design, prospective and retrospective quantitative descriptive. Research Results, The results of this study showed a significant relationship between medication compliance and GDP and GD2PP therapeutic outcomes with a p Value of 0.000 <0.05. Age factor affects medication adherence with p Value 0.007 <0.05 and routine control affects the outcome of blood sugar therapy levels of GDP and GD2PP with p Value 0.000 <0.05 Conclusion, There is a significant relationship between medication adherence with GDP and GD2PP levels, there is a significant relationship between age and complications with medication adherence and there is a significant relationship between routine control and complications with GDP and GD2PP levels. There is a significant relationship between heredity of diabetes mellitus with GDP levels Recommendation, this study is continued with the relationship between quality of life and outcome of therapy for type 2 DM patients at the Kebumen II Community Health Centre.
