Abstract
Background: Pneumonia is a disease that results in inflammation or inflammation that occurs will result in consolidation and filling of the alveoli cavity by secreted exudate. Causing a decrease in effective tissue in the lungs and damage to the alveolar membrane, causing the ventilation process to be disrupted which will lead to dyspnea this condition is included in the ineffective breathing pattern. Deep breathing exercise is an effective breath that makes lung and vital capacity increase. Listening to murotal Al-Qur'an has an effect with headphones on improving the physiological response of respiration frequency. Objective: To describe the utilization of deep breathing exercise therapy with a combination of Qur'anic murottal therapy in patients with pneumonia in the hospital. Methods: This scientific work uses a descriptive case study design. The case study approach was 5 patients with a medical diagnosis of pneumonia. The actions taken were the provision of deep breathing exercise therapy with a combination of Qur'anic murottal therapy using an observation sheet. Nursing Care Results: The nursing problems that arose in the five patients were shortness of breath and diagnoses of ineffective breathing patterns. Interventions that will be carried out provide deep breathing exercise therapy with a combination of Qur'anic murottal therapy. Conclusion: The results of the application of deep breathing exercise therapy with a combination of Al-Qur'an Murottal therapy can be concluded that deep breathing exercise therapy with a combination of Al-Qur'an murottal therapy can be applied and shows improvement before and after therapy. Recommendations: As a source of reading that can update knowledge and apply innovations related to nursing implementation carried out to patients with pneumonia focused on nursing diagnoses of ineffective breathing patterns.
