Abstract
Background: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic health problem that affects patients' quality of life, particularly their nutrition and physical endurance. Adequate nutritional fulfillment can support the recovery process and enhance patients' endurance. Objective: To determine the relationship between nutritional fulfillment and endurance level in COPD patients at Amanah Sumpiuh Hospital Methods: This study employed a quantitative correlation research design using a cross-sectional study and a retrospective approach. Data were collected using questionnaires, nutritional fulfillment was assessed through the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ), and endurance was measured using the Six-Minute Walk Test (6MWT) which involved 61 respondents. Statistical analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. Results: The chi-square test results showed a p-value of 0.000, indicating p<0.05, which means H1 is accepted, confirming a relationship between nutritional fulfillment and the endurance level of COPD patients. Conclusion: There is a relationship between nutritional fulfillment and endurance level in COPD patients. Recommendation: Future research is expected to explore the effectiveness of nutritional intervention programs in improving the endurance and quality of life of COPD patients.
