Abstract
Background, Hypertension is defined as a condition where systolic blood pressure 140 mmhg and 90 mmhg diastolic blood pressure. Low obedience to the patient can be caused by some factors, One of them is patient knowledge related to hypertension. Besides, The obedience to taking medicine is a factor that can affect blood pressure control. Objective, To know the level of knowledge of hypertension to the obedience to antihypertensive drugs treated by RSUD Prembun. Methods, This research was done prospectively using the cross sectional method, data fetching using questioner (HFQ) to measure the level of knowledge and questionnaires (MMAS-8) to measure obedience levels. And to find out the connection between the level of knowledge and obedience to taking medicine using a Spearman Rho Result, Results obtained from 100 indicate that low level of knowledge 9 (9 %), medium 82 (82 %), 9 height (9%). low obedience level 40 (40 %), medium 45 (45 %), height 15 (15 %) there's a link between the level of knowledge and the willingness to drink value drugs. Conclusion, So there's a link between the level of knowledge and obedience of taking hypertension patients' medications with grades (P-Value 0,001). Recommendation, For the next researcher to evaluate other factors that affect obedience.
