Abstract
Background: Self-esteem is not formed from birth, but learned from a person's unique experience in itself, with the nearest person, and with the reality of the world. Signs and symptoms of low self-esteem that is self-criticism, feelings of inadequacy, pessimistic view of life, reduced productivity, rejection of self-efficacy. Signs and symptoms experienced low self esteem clients need to get proper treatment because otherwise it can cause psychological problems more serious. Objective: Writing scientific papers is expected to provide an analysis of nursing care to clients with dangguan self concept: low self-esteem in a decrease in the signs and symptoms of low self esteem. Methods: The research method is descriptive scientific work through a case study approach. Results: After nursing care to the three respondents low self esteem decrease signs and symptoms at less sociable clients 100%. Signs and symptoms decreased among others, the eye easily switch, looked sluggish, rarely talking with friends and feel bored. Conclusion: There is a decrease signs and symptoms after nursing care. To maximize the signs and symptoms decrease in addition to their therapeutic action implementation strategy, TAK, and rehabilitation needed additional therapy is behavioral therapy to maximize the reduction in signs and symptoms of low self esteem
