Abstract

Background: Breast milk is the first main food and it is best food for babies. One of the causes why a mother does not feed her baby exclusively is because of the lack of breast milk production. The volume of breast milk production is influenced by the nutrition intake, the consumption of mother, if the mother to eat regularly and sufficient nutrients in need it will affect the production of breast milk, because the breastmilk gland can not work perfectly without adequate food. To produce good breast milk the mother's diet must meet the number of calories, protein, fat and vitamins and enough minerals. Objective: To know the provision menu of food for the breast milk production of post partum mother. Method: This study is an analytical descriptive. This was done by describing the facts obtained directly from interviews and observations to get an accurate conclusion. Result: After being given a balanced food, it can be concluded that the frequency of breast feeding a baby before applising the implementation to the participant 1 is : ≤6x become ≥7-8x each day, participant 2 is : ≤6x become ≥7-8x each day, participant 3 is : ≤6x become ≥8- 9x each day. The frequency of baby urination before applying the implementation to the participant 1 is ≤6x become ≥7-8x each day, participant 2 is ≤6x become ≥7-8x each day, participant 3 is ≤6x become ≥78x each day. The baby’s condition was sleep before applying the implementation to the participant 1 is ≥ a hour become ≥4 hour each day, participant 2 is ≥2 hour become ≥3-4 hour each day, participant 3 is ≥2 hours become ≥3-4 hour each day and all of baby’s increase their of weight after apply the implementation. Conclusion: The balance menu of food can increase the breast milk production of post partum mother.
