Abstract
Backround: Pulmonary tuberculosis is a contagious disease directly caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. Symptoms in patiens with pulmonary tuberculosis are cough with phlegm for 2-3 weeks or more, cough with phlegm mixed with blood, bleeding cough, shorthness of breath, body weekness, chest pain, fever more than a month, decreasing appetite, decreasing weight, and nigth sweat day without physical activity. Objective: To describe nursing care for pulmonary tuberculosis patients with the fulfillment of oxsigenation needs in Dahlia ward of dr. Soedirman hospital of Kebumen. Method: This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. Data were obtained through interview, physical examination, and documentation study. The subjects were 2 pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Result: After having nursing care for 2 days, the imbalance of nutrition less than the body needs was not solvable. Ineffective airway clearnce, sleeping disorder, and physical mobility disorder were solvable. Keyword: Nursing care, effective cough technique, oxygenation
