Abstract
Background: Prevalence of hypertension occurrence in elderly, that is 60% -80% at age above 65 year. The number of hypertension sufferers in Puskesmas Gombong II is 237 people. Hypertension can occur from various factors, including the lifestyle and diet. Treatment with drugs can be done with the administration of anti-hypertensive drugs, while for therapy without drugs can be done by exercising regularly. From a variety of sports that there is one sport that can be done that is hypertension gymnastics. Purpose: Writing: applying hypertension gymnastics to hypertension family to stabilize blood pressure in Klopogodo Village RT 04 RW 01 District Gombong Kebumen Regency. Method: This research use case study method (Case Study). Participants of this study amounted to 2 people with hypertension. The instrument in this case study is a blood pressure measurement sheet in hypertensive patients. Results: Clients with hypertension have elevated blood pressure due to ineffective family health maintenance and health behaviors tend to be at risk. Action: Actions performed in stabilizing blood pressure, the authors perform hypertensive exercise Evaluation: The results of the evaluation indicate that the diagnosis of ineffectiveness of family health care and health behaviors tends to be at risk.
