Abstract
Background: Based on WHO data in 2011 nearly 90% of normal delivery processes had perineum rupture either with or without episiotomy. In 2009 the perineal rupture in Asia was a considerable problem in society. The prevalence of maternal mother who has perineum rupture in Indonesia of 25-30 year age group is 24%. For maternal mothers aged 31-39 years it is 62%. Discomfort in the form of pain experienced by post partum mothers with spontaneous perineum rupture depends on the degree of rupture experienced (Sayiner, 2009). The way how to reduce the suture of the nurse's seam is naturally by giving the application of boiled chicken egg consumption to accelerate the healing of the perineum wound on the puerperal mother. Objective: To apply boiled chicken egg consumption to accelerate the perineum rupture recovery of puerperal mother. Method: This study is a analytical descriptive. The writer describes facts obtained from the assessment through interviews and documentation. Result: After consuming boiled chicken egg, 2 of 3 participants has succeeded in accelerating the recovery of their perineum rupture. This is based on the application during 1-7 days of post partum mothers on the second day. This was categorized to be quick and slow rupture recovery. Conclusion: The application of boiled chicken egg consumption has been proven to be able to reduce the recovery of perineum rupture of postpartum mother.
