Abstract
Background: Early mobility technique is away to overcome the risk of decubitus of stroke patient. It is done to recude the risk of decubitus of stroke patient having limb weakness problem.This problem will lead to the physical mobility disorder associated with the limb weakness. Objective: To describe nursing care for stroke patient by applying early mobility technique to reduce the risk of decubitus. Method:This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. Data was obtained through interview, observation, physical examination, documentation study. The subject was stroke patient. Result: After having nursing care by applying early mobility technique once in 3 days, there was a decrease in the risk of decubitus from medium level to be light level. Conclusion: The application of early mobility technique can decrease the decubitus risk of stroke patient. Keywords: Early mobility, decubitus risk, stroke
