Abstract
Background: In this era of globalization, STD among adolescents is increasing. This is caused by the sexual behavior of adolescents that lead to negative things such as premarital sexual intercourse, then also changing sexual partners. Objective: To know the relationship between adolescent knowledge about STD and sexual behavior of the tenth grade students at SMK YAPEK Gombong. Method: This research uses descriptive correlation study method with cross sectional approach. Data analysis was done using frequency distribution, while bivariate analysis was conducted by using Kendall Tau statistic test. Results: Based on the research, there is 40,6% of the adolescents in tenth grade students of SMK YAPEK Gombong have enough knowledge about STD, while 57,1% of them have very risky sexual behavior. Conclusion: There is no correlation between the knowledge of adolescent about STD and sexual behavior of the tenth grade students of SMK YAPEK Gombong with p=0,410 (> 0,05). Recommendation: Students of Muhammadiyah Health Science Institute of Gombong have to pay close attention to adolescents in their neighborhood by providing counseling facilities or youth service
