Abstract
Background: Elderly posyandu is a health facility to monitor the health of elderly. In reality, elderly are less active in utilizing elderly posyandu service, especialy elderly men. It needs family support and cadres to improve adherence of elderly in their visit to elderly posyandu. the form of family support is information, emotional, rewarding and instrumental support. The role of the cadre include the role of an activity planner, communicator, activator and service provider. Objective: To fine the correlation between family and cadre social support and the frequensi of male elderly visit the elderly posyandu Method: This research used descriptive correlation method with cross sectional approach. Number of samples 47 respondents from the total population of 47 elderly male respondents who visited elderly posyandu. Sampling technique with total sampling. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and bivariate analysis using Chi Square statistical test. And multivariate analysis using regression logistic statistic test. Result : Based on the research, the result obtained for the family social support of p-value 0,002 (p<0,05) and p-value 0,003 (p<0,05) cadre support mean the there is correlation of social support of family an cadres with visit of elderly men to elderly posyandu. Recommendation : For further research is expected to explore factors that affect the lack of visits of elderly men.
