Abstract
Background:Oxytocin massage is a solution to overcome the insufficiency of milk production. The obstructed breast milk production in the early days of breastfeeding should be anticipated. Oxytocin massage can be an effort to accelerate breast milk production. Objective:To describe nursing care by applying oxytocin massage to increase milk production of breastfeeding mother. Method: This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. Data were obtained through interview, observation, physical examination, and documentation study. The subject was a post partum primiphara mother on her early breast feeding. The instrument was observation sheet. Result:After having nursing care by applying breast massage for 3 x 24 hours, the breast milk production was increasing so that the baby could feed about 11 times in 24 hours and the baby could sleep after 3-4 hours breasteeding.
