Abstract
Background: Thermoregulation is a mechanism that occurs in living organism to maintain the internal temperature so as to be in the tolerable range. Fever can be the sign of thypoid. Unless it is treated, there will be dehydration, a decrease in consciouseness, and being stiff. Objective: To perform nursing care forthypoid patients in fullfiling the need of thermoregulation in Kenanga ward of Dr. Soedirman hospital, Kebumen. Method: This research isan anlytical descriptive with a case study approach. The data was collected through interview, physical examination, and observation. The instrument was nursing care format. Result: After having nursing care in 3x24 hours time, there was no more hot excrement, the body temperature was normal, lips mucosa was dump. This was indicating that hyperthermia wassolvable.
