Abstract
Background: Fracture is a situation where there diintegritas bone. The most direct cause of the incident was an accident, but other factors such as degenerative processes and osteoporosis can also affect the occurrence of fractures. General Purpose Scientific Writing: To provide an overview of the nursing care needs of protection and safety compliance in patients post orif femur fractures. Nursing Resume: The nursing assessment showed that client said pain, difficulty in mobilitation, changes in sleep patterns and there is a hose drain in the wound. Seemingly postoperative wounds still covered in bandages. Based on these data the nursing diagnosis was management is acute pain appertain with physical injury agents, imobility appertain with neuromuscular, sleep disorders appertain with pain. Risk of infection appertain with procees invasive. Intervention and Implementation that have been made include relaxation, providing analgesic therapy, train and advise clients perform ADLs independently, identify the cause of the changes in sleep patterns, recommends a nap, observed signs of infection, wound care. Evaluations were conducted over three days the pain has subsided, the client can perform the appropriate mobilization capabilities, clients sleep patterns improved, did not showed signs of infection, clients feel comfortable after process wound care.
