Abstract
Background:Triage is an action of patient classificationin accordance with their priority. The accurate action ofthe nurses in carrying out triage is influenced by various factors, such as knowledge about triage, working motivation and job volume. Objective:To know the factors that influence the accuracy of the triage implementation, and to know the most dominant factors influencing the accuracy of triage implementation in Emergency room of Dr. Soedirman hospital of Kebumen Method:This study is a descriptive correlation. The samples are 28 respondents taken by total sampling method using questioners and observation sheet. Result:The factors that influence the accuracy of triage implementation are knowledge (p = 0.033), job volume (p = 0.030) and working motivation (p = 0.011). The most dominant factor is the working motivation with the value of odd ratio18.418. Conclusion: Factors that influence the accuracy of triage implementation are knowledge, workload and work motivation. Meanwhile, the most dominant factor is the working motivation with the value of odd ratio18.418.
