Abstract
Background: Improving the quality of life of children is determined by the planting of health behaviors early on. The child's behavior in washing hands with soap can be affected by factors such as knowledge and poise of handwashing with soap. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge about washing his hands handwashing in children in SDN 2 Rogodono Buayan District of Kebumen Methods: This study used a correlational method with cross sectional approach. Samples numbered 59 children were taken by total sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and correlation using test kendal thau. Results: This study resulted in the finding that most respondents with male sex (62.7%) and 10 years old (50.8%). Most respondents with knowledge about hand washing enough category (76.3%). Most respondents to attitudes about hand washing enough category (57.6%). Conclusion: There is a relationship of knowledge about washing his hands handwashing in children in SDN 2 Rogodono Buayan District of Kebumen
