Abstract
Background: Pre-schooling children family is a couple having children in the age of 3-6 years old. The care pattern of parents is very important in increasing the quality of their children’s development. Therefore, the writer is interested in giving family nursing care about inability of being parents of children who like playing gadget. Objective: To describe family nursing care for parents having children in the of pre-schooling development about inability to be parents in the working area of community health centre II of Gombong. Method: This scientific paper is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. Data were collected from interview, observation, and documentation study. Result: After 5 times having family nursing care, there was an increase of parenting pattern indicated by the decrease in using gadget 4.02% (Mr. J) and 12.5% (Mr. S), in authoritarian parenting 13.89% (Mr. J) and 2.78% (Mr. S, in permissive parenting 16.67% (Mr. J) and 27.7 % (Mr. S). There was also an increase in democracy parenting 3.57% (Mr. J) and 21.43% (Mr. S). Conclusion: The nursing care can increase the parenting quality of parents having children in the age of pre-schooling development.
