Abstract
Background: Number of stoke cases of Kebumen in 2013 were 40.972 people. Stroke patient usually has paralysis, hardtalking, dizziness, partly weakness in the limb of hands and feet that can not be moved. It will spread to other limbs, such as brain, shortage of oxygen supply to the brain. The only effort to prevent the muscle weakness is by increasing the activity, doing ROM exercise, assisting to move to right and left every 2 hours, and monitoring vital signs. Objective: To provide a nursing care for stroke patients with physical mobility disorder by doing ROM exercise in accordance with ROM motion training procedures. Method: This scientific papaer is an analytical descriptive with a case study approach. Data were collected from interview, direct observation, and physical examination. The subject was a stroke patient with physical mobility disorder. Result: After having nursing care for 3 days, there were changes that the patients were more comfortable, and muscle strength was increasing. In addition, the patient’s family was able to perform ROM exercise to the patient on a regular basis.
