Abstract
Background: From all fractures in the facial area about two-thirds are mandibular fractures. Clients suffering from mandibular fractures have a problem of basic human needs are acute pain associated with physical injury agents Objective: to describe nursing care of fulfilling secure and comfort needs to Mr. E in Inayah Ward, PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Gombong. Results: The nursing diagnoses were acute pain associated with physical injury agents and self-care deficits associated with weakness. Nursing Treatment: Nursing actions performed by nurses that assess pain in a comprehensive manner, including the location, characteristics, frequency, quality and precipitation factors, Teach and encourage the management of pain (relaxation breath in), monitor vital signs and general state of the client, keep the immobilization on the sick, collaboration with doctor of analgesics and implement treatment programs doctor, assess client personal hygiene, help clients to meet the needs of personal hygiene, help clients ADL fulfillment. Evaluation: The evaluation results indicate acute pain associated with physical injury unresolved agent and self-care deficits associated with weakness partially resolved.
