Abstract
Background: Febrile seizures in the healthcare world include serious illnesses that mostly affect children under five so it needs to be handled quickly and appropriately. Febrile seizures occur due to fever, then the main goal of treatment is to prevent the fever is increased, one of the therapy that can be used is warm compresses. Objective: Explain the nursing care given to the client by meeting the basic needs of hyperthermic thermoregulation in cases of febrile seizures in the Aster Room RSUD. PROF. DR. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Results: The introduction of interventions in the form of warm compresses in children was able to overcome the problem of hyperthermia, but there are patients in this nursing care who experience a decrease did not decrease significantly Conclusions: Provision of warm compresses in all pediatric patients has not been able to overcome hyperthermic problems Suggestion: It is expected that the nurse room to seek new nursing actions to overcome the problem of nursing hyperthermia, so that it can ease the signs and symptoms of patients.
