Abstract
Background: Fever in children requires separate treatment and treatment when compared to adults. The effects of fever may be excessive evaporation of body fluids resulting in a lack of fluids and seizures. Objectives: Explain nursing care in children with basic needs of thermoregulation: Hyperthermia in children with fever Results: Administration of tapid water sponge and warm water compress can equally solve hyperthermic nursing problems in children where children experience a decrease in body temperature. Conclusion: The authors analysis that the administration of tapid water sponge therapy is more effective in reducing the heat when compared with warm water compresses Suggestions: The results of this study can be developed again by using other methods in lowering body temperature in children with febrile diagnosis.
