Abstract
Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium mycobacterium tuberculosis, which can invade a variety of organs, especially the lungs. Nursing actions to maintain and improve the development of the lungs include invasive and non invasive action. One of the act of noninvasive that give the spring fowler. Objective: Describes the nursing care given to clients with ineffectiveness cleavage way breath on pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Method: This scientific paper is an analysis of 5 nursing care in patients with ineffectiveness cleavage road breath nursing problems by means of problem formulation, data analysis, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Results of analysis: Nursing problems taken by the author of ineffective clearance of the airway. After the action of nursing by giving semi fowler position and after observation for 7 hours at emergency department of RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto got the result of breathing frequency before done semi fowler position ranged between 28-34x / minute. Then, the frequency of breathing after the giving of semi-fowler position is to be 24-32x / minute. Conclusion: The provision of semi-fowler position proved effective to help reduce breathing difficulties and reduce patient discomfort due to shortness of breath compared with lying flat position.
