Abstract
according to the World Health Organization (WHO, 2011) (WHO) figures obtained sectio caesarea incidence increased 5 times compared to previous years. The incidence of sectio caesarea in Indonesia in 2012 was 606 797 of the total labor 4,902,585 or approximately 12.4% (MOH, 2012). Complications that arise after done sectio caesarea one of which is pain in the incision area. the impact of post SC pain if left untreated in women is limited mobilization, bonding attachment interrupted / is not met, Activity of Daily Living (ADL) is disturbed. The purpose of this paper is to explain the nursing care of hand-held relaxationtherapy on post-sectio caesarea mother. The results obtained from the assessment of nursing care of pain, pain when the client says will move, as was slashed with a pain scale 7, pain is often raised. nursing problems that arise are acute pain. Interventions that have been done that is with the provision of hand-held finger relaxation therapy. After hand-held relaxation therapy fingers decreased the scale of pain. it can be concluded that effective hand-held relaxation therapy to help control pain.
