Abstract
Background: The early mobilization (EM) program is a component of the first phase heart rehabilitation program that emphasizes early physical exercise. Objective: To determine the effect of phase 1 cardiac rehabilitation on hemodynamic changes in STEMI patients in ICU-ICCU. Method: This research uses quasi experiment method with pretest-posttest approach with control group design. A sample of 32 respondents consisted of intervention group of 16 respondents and control group 16 respondents. Samples were taken by consecutive sampling technique. Results: There was a hemodynamic change after a phase 1 heart rehab in the intervention group with p <0.005. Conclusion: Phase 1 cardiac rehabilitation affects hemodynamic status (sistole, pulse and RR blood pressure) but did not affect Spo2 levels in both the control group and the intervention group Recommendation: It is expected that the nurse performs a phase 1 cardiac rehabilitation program in STEMI patients according to SOP
