Abstract
Background: Studies show that the rate of failure of Depo Medroxyprogesterone Average (DMPA) contraction is due to the lack of knowledge of the acceptors and the re-injection visit is not punctual. This is the most common case. Therefore, the writer is interested in applying booklet media about 3-month injection contraction towards the knowledge and the punctual re-injection visit of 3-month contraction of the old acceptors. Objective: This study aims at knowledge the application of 3-month injection contraceptive booklet on the knowledge and punctual of re-injection visit of old 3-month contraceptive acceptors in independent midwifery clinic of Midwife Lusi Sumartini. Method: This study was conducted by using descriptive method with a case study approach. The respondents are 5 old acceptors with 3-month contraceptive. Result: After applying the booklet media, there was an increase in knowledge level of all participants, i.e. from less knowledge level became good level (4 respondents), and from enough knowledge level became good level (1 respondent). All participants have punctual 3-month re-injection contraceptive.
