Abstract
Background: Physiological all women who give birth Will experience lain during labor. Pain is an unpleasant emotional and sensory experience that a person feels so much needed handling. Back-Efflurage massage id a massage intervention that will improve blood circulation in the area so that the activity of cells is increasingly and it will reduce pain. Lavender contains linalool which is that main active substance that PlayStation a tole in anti-anxiety (relaxation). Aromatherapy affects the limbic system ini the brain to produce neuro-hormone ini endorphin and encephalin that serves to relieve stress and anxiety when facing delivery process. Objective: This study is to investigator the effect of Back-Efflurage massage and lavender aromatherapy ini decreasing labor pain during delivery process of stage Of ini the active phase. Research Method: This research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects were 5 participants. Data were obtained from primary data (interview and observation) and secondary data (literature study and documentation) Result: After applying Bavk-Efflurage massage and lavender aromatherapy on maternal mothers in stage I-active phase labor process, there was a decrease in pain score of all participants, i.e. from 8 to be 6 (participant 1 and 2), from 9 to be 5 (participant 3), from 7 to be 5 (participant 4), from 8 to be 5 (participant 5). Conclusion: Back-Efflurage massage and lavender aromatherapy have an effect on the decrease of pain of stage I-active phase labor process.
