Abstract
Background: Indonesia had measles immunization coverage of 93% in 2016. The fact is that measles is one of the main causes of infant mortality. In addition, there is 32.1% of infants not being injected with measles immunization. This is because mothers of the infants worry about their infants will be frequently sick, and have fever. Besides, they are worried if their infants will have pain. To overcome the pain. They can give their infants ice-compress. Objective: To know the application of ice-compress to reduce pain level of infants after having injection of measles immunization in Independent Midwifery Clinic of Midwife Eko Setyorini. Method: This research was conducted by using an analytical descriptive method with a case study approach. Participants were 5 infants having measles immunization. Data were obtained through interview and observation. Result: After having ice-compress, there was a decrease in pain level of all participants (100%), i.e. from severe pain to be moderate pain.
