Abstract
Background: Not always a normal delivery can be done by a mother, sometimes medical indications are found that require a mother to undergo sectio caesarea. Having labor with a surgical or operative procedure will provide an emotional reaction to anxiety for a mother. Handling anxiety in patients can be done with five-finger hypnosis. Objective: Perform anxiety nursing care with five-finger hypnosis in pre-sectional caesarean patients in the Flamboyant Room of Prof. RSUD dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Method: This scientific work uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The case study instrument uses the anxiety check list and the Standard Operating 5-finger hypnosis procedure. The subjects of the case studies that have been studied are 3 patients who experience anxiety before undergoing sectio caesarea surgery. Data were obtained from the results of observation of interviews, physical examinations, and documentation studies. Results of nursing care: Nursing diagnoses that appear on the client are anxiety. Actions taken in handling anxiety, the authors conducted nursing interventions, namely acts of mutual trust, discussed about anxiety, hypnotic five fingers. The evaluation results showed a decrease in anxiety after five hypnotic nursing actions were performed. Recommendation: The results of this nursing care can be used as a reference for the preparation of anxiety management SOPs in patients with caesarean section.
