Abstract
Background : TB data in Indonesia is 86.9% of men and 13.1% of women have pulmonary TB, pulmonary TB is a contagious infectious disease that may affect everyone. Pulmonary TB patients usually experience health problems and psychosocial problems namely low situational self-esteem.General Purpose of Writing : Describing the analysis of nursing care disorder of self-concept: situational low self-esteem in pulmonary TB patients. Writing Method : This Scientific Writing is qualitative with a case study approach. Data obtained from case study reviews, assessment sheets, observation of direct assessment of patients, and health equipment such as blood pressure, thermometers. For 2 male or female clients with pulmonary TB who were hospitalized in Kebumen Hospital, Dahlia ward for more than 3 days, for 1 hour meeting. Case Study Results : The results of the evaluation carried out for 3 days showed that there was a decrease in signs and symptoms of low self-esteem by using SP on client 1 with a score of 6 and client 2 with a score of 3, an increase in ability possessed by client 1 and client 2 by 4 scores , the results obtained decreased symptoms better client 1 than client 2 and the ability to get the same between clients 1 and 2.Recommendation : Nurses are expected to not only provide physical nursing care but also provide psychosocial nursing care to pulmonary TB clients who experience low self-esteem.
