Abstract
Background: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients often complain excruciating pain in the throbbing lower limbs on the right and left legs. The impact and complications that occur when the pain is not resolved properly can interfere with the client's ability to carry out daily activities, rest, and reduce appetite. Non-pharmacological pain management performed to reduce pain in DM patients use warm compress therapy. Objective: To explain the effectiveness of nursing care in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with type 2 diabetes mellitus with chronic lower leg pain. Method: This scientific paper uses a descriptive case study design. The subject of the case study was 3 people with Type 2 DM patients. Data collection was using observation, interview and documentation studies. Results: Based on three patients obtained results before being given a warm compress the pain scale 6-7, and after being given a warm compress the pain scale became 2 Conclusion: The evaluation results of Type 2 DM patients showed that the patient's pain data had decreased from moderate/severe pain to mild pain.
