Abstract
Background: Low birth weights babies (LBW) are babies bom with a weight <2500 grams regardless of gestation. Babies with low birth weight are at risk of disruption of the body's system due to unstable body conditions. Nesting is used to giving the right position to the neonate. Purpose: Explaining of Nursing Care with Giving Nesting to Low Birth Weight (LBW) with Hypothermia Nursing Problems in the Room PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Gombong. Result: the results of the study conducted by the authors on the three patients found that Nursing diagnoses that arise. Namely the problem of hypothermia. Therapy given to patients are nesting use found that it nesting use to help maintain stable body temperature. Conclusion: The use of nesting can be used to maintain temperature stability at LBW.
