Abstract
Background: Stroke is a neurolgic deficit that has a sudden onset, lasts more than 24 hours and is caused by cerebrovascular disease. Giving a head up position is a form of nursing action performed on SNH patients, head injuries, strokes with intracranial hypertension. Another problem that arises in SNH sufferers is breathing, which is caused by a patient's discomfort due to an abnormal blood supply to the brain and a blockage of the airway to the neck in the form of blood called thrombus. One of the main aspects of providing nursing care is smooth breathing and removing blockages, blood and secretions, while for suction. Objective:o analyze nursing care for clients with Non-Hemorrhagic Stroke (SNH) at the HCU Hospital Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Method:This case study study uses descriptive research design that is carried out on a set of objects that aims to see a picture of phenomena that occur within a particular population (Notoatmodjo, 2010). In this case study research examines nursing care in patients with Non- Hemorrhagic Stroke at the RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto. Result:The innovation results that the head up position is 15-30 degrees in SNH patients in the HCU Room of the RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto that giving a head up position of 15-30 dearajat did not provide a significant change in the patient's hemodynamic status, especially oxygen saturation. Whereas for the suction action, the data is obtained that there is an increase of the Sp02 level after the suction action is carried out. This is because the airway is freed from accumulation of sekretyang, making the transfer of oxygen from the atmosphere into the lungs more effective. Kesimpulan:From case studies done for head up action of 15-30 degrees does not give a significant effect on hemodynamic status, while Suction action is increased SP02 levels after suction action
