Abstract
Background: In patients with congstive heart failure there will be a disruption, namely decreased myocardial contractility, duo to reduced oxygen supply which results in changes in hemodynamic status. Brathing exercise is an exercise to improve breathing and functional performance. One of the breathing exercise that can be done is deep breathing exercise, which is nursing activity that functions to increase the ability of the respiratory muscles to increase pulmonary compliance in improving ventilation funcyional and improving oxygenation. Objective: To analyze nursing care for clients withnursing problems Obstacles to Gas Exchange in Suparjo Rustam II Room of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital of Purwokerto. Method: This case study uses descriptive research design. Descriptive research is research conducted on a set of objects that usually aim to see a picture of phenomena (including health) that occur in a particular population. Result: Based on the research conducted on three CHF patients that the administration of slow deep breathing therapy can be done by monitoring changes in the Respiration Rate (RR) in addition to the provision of slow deep breathing therapy can be used to reduce efforts to inspire and improve respiratory muscle funcyion results that there is no change significant reduction in dyspnea experienced by CHF patients in Suparjo Rustam II of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital of Purwokerto. Recomendation: There was no significant change in the decrease in dyspnea experienced by CHF patients in Suparjo Rustam II of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital of Purwokerto.
