Abstract

Background: Breastfeeding is a natural process that is not easy to do. Exclusive breastfeeding aims to ensure the fulfillment of the baby's right to exclusive breastfeeding from birth to the age of 6 months by paying attention to its growth and development. There are some mothers who experience the problem of milk production because some mothers are influenced by myths so that mothers are not sure they can give breast milk to their babies. The first major diagnosis in patients of lactation discovery refers to a theoretical focus on ineffective breastfeeding. Ineffective breastfeeding is a condition in which the mother and baby experience dissatisfaction with the breastfeeding process. Objective: Describe the nursing care provided to patients with ineffective breastfeeding problems who use lactation massage techniques to improve blood circulation. Method: This case study was conducted from January 20th, 2025 to February 7th, 2025 in the Mirit Community Health Center area. This Scientific Paper uses a descriptive method with data that has been collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. All respondents with 3 patients those are who had ineffective breastfeeding problems. The instruments used were study formats, sphygmomanometers, observation sheets, and coconut oil. Results: After 3 meetings, all respondents experienced an increase in breast milk production Conclusion: Lactation Massage Technique Increase Breast Milk Production Recommendation: Lactation Massage Techniques can be done for non- pharmacological treatment in postpartum mothers who have ineffective breastfeeding problems.
