Abstract

Background, Medicine is a basic human need. Therefore, medicines that have been distributed or will be distributed must be guaranteed to meet quality standards and be safe for patient use. Drug production must meet criteria such as quality, safety, and efficacy. Not only during production, but also during drug distribution and delivery, ensuring that the medicine is in good condition before it is consumed by the patient. Good Drug Distribution Practices (GDP) are distribution methods for drugs and pharmaceutical ingredients that aim to ensure their quality during the distribution process in accordance with the requirements and intended use. Research Objective, To evaluate the implementation of GDP at PBF Rajawali Nusindo Solo in 2024. Methode, This descriptive study was conducted in April 2025. Pharmacists at PBF Rajawali Nusindo Solo were interviewed with nine questions regarding several aspects of GDP. Conclusion, Well-implemented GDP can benefit PBFs in terms of operational efficiency, enabling optimal implementation, maximizing results with minimal resource use. Recommendation, Further research is needed to monitor the implementation of GDP at PBF throughout Indonesia.
