Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is a malignancy that occurs due to the growth of breast tissue, either from the lobules or from the ductal epithelial tissue. General Objective: To explain nursing care for breast cancer patients with anxiety nursing problems in the Teratai Room of Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Hospital, Purwokerto. Method: This study uses a descriptive method with a case study approach. The sample consisted of 5 breast cancer patients. The case study instrument used the SOP for al-waqi'ah letter murrotal therapy, the SOP for lavender aromatherapy and observation sheets before and after therapy. Nursing Care Results: The results of the application carried out on 5 patients, all of whom experienced anxiety nursing problems and were given ar-rahman letter murrotal therapy for 15-30 minutes first, then lavender aromatherapy was given simultaneously for 10-15 minutes, after the intervention ended 15 minutes later measurements were taken using an observation sheet. Then observed before and after therapy. After the application of therapy to 5 patients, the results showed a decrease in restless behavior, worried verbalization, tense behavior and concentration. Recommendation: The results of this study can be applied to patients with anxiety to reduce restless behavior, verbalization of worry, tense behavior and concentration by means of non-pharmacological therapy. Conclusion: The results of the application of nursing action innovations showed that there were restless behavior, verbalization of worry, tense behavior and concentration
