Abstract

Background: The hallmarks of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are a chronic inflammatory response of the lung airways to noxious substances, air pollutants, or particles, rapid progression, and persistent and permanent airflow limitation. Comorbidities and recurring COPD symptoms worsen the patient's condition. Objective: The study aims to explain Nursing Care for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Patients at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Regional Hospital who Experience Ineffective Breathing Patterns. Methods: The design used by the author is the case study method. A case study is a study that examines an existing problem through a single case. Results: The results from 5 clients showed that after Buteyko Technique therapy, there was an increase in oxygen saturation levels with an overall value of 100% for 5 patients. Conclusion: The results of the analysis showed changes in saturation before and after performing the Buteyko Technique.
