Abstract

Background: A fracture is defined as the discontinuity of bone structure, either partial or complete, commonly caused by osteoporosis or severe trauma that disrupts the integrity of bone or cartilage tissue. Trauma or excessive mechanical force to the bone and surrounding soft tissues is the primary cause of fractures. Objective: This study aimed to analyze nursing care management of acute pain in patients with femoral fractures using the Murottal Asmaul Husna method. Method: This study employed a descriptive case study design. The descriptive approach was applied to illustrate the nursing care process and pain management interventions experienced by the patient. Results: Pain assessment using the numeric rating scale showed that before receiving Murottal Asmaul Husna therapy, the patient reported moderate pain (score 5). Following the intervention, the pain level decreased to mild (score 2), with an average reduction of 3 points. Conclusion: Murottal Asmaul Husna therapy is effective in reducing acute pain among patients with femoral fractures.
